The Club's U14 footballers got their season off to the ideal start on Saturday when they eclipsed their neighbours Strabane in the opening tie of the football season.
Pre-season preparations continue for the club's senior and reserve squads in Melvin and Bready. The season commences with a trip to Clogher on Saturday 3rd April. All fixtures are now on the senior team page.
Training continues for the Owen Roes U18s side in readiness for the upcoming season. Anyone interested in playing for the club in 2010 should contact a member of the management team. The first game of the season is when the team entertain Aghyaran on 28th March.
Underage training for ladies U8s to U14s will take place every Friday at 7pm in Melvin. Cost per session is £1.
The club's list of coaches/managers has been ratified for the 2010 season. A season which not only will we see a return to Pairc an Ghleanna, the 40th anniversary of Owen Roes, but we'll also see a ladies senior team representing the parish again. More coaches are still required, and specifically a manager at ladies senior level. Anyone interested in helping out, or the ladies role should contact Tracy Harper, Galvin Early or Joe Hegarty.
