The Owen Roes second string just about fielded their 15 for this clash, and were rewarded with both points in this ACL reserve clash. It was the hosts who started best and went in at half-time 2-8 to 1-4 to the good, with senior stopper Dylan Early grabbing 1-2 for the visitors, to supplement scores by Eamon McBride (0-2). Owen Roes second string squandered a seven-point lead in the final quarter to draw with Drumquin on Sunday. Played in a thunderstorm, Drumquin goaled twice in a minute to earn a share of the spoils.
