Owen Roes' second string opened their 2016 home campaign with a well merited win against Clogher on Sunday past. The Owen Roes second string took to the field on Sunday past in their league opener with a mix of youth and experience. The away side were in the contest for the entire game but couldn't get close enough to a Derg side that just about held on.The O'Neills almost got the perfect start when Conor McCay hit the post after 30 seconds although they would nose in front shortly after with midfielder Conor Donaghey pointing. Four second halg goals helped Owen Roes ease into the last eight of the 2014 reserve championship.
