The minor footballers of Owen Roes marked their debut game at grade one of the Tyrone minor league with a hard fought win over Kildress in Gortacladdy on Saturday. Owen Roes will wonder how it's Kildress and not them that are preparing for the 2012 Minor League final after a two point loss in Greencastle on Sunday. Owen Roes' minor footballers are into the last four of the grade 2 league following a good win over Moortown this afternoon. The home side had accrued a decent interval lead and although less potent in the second half, had enough scores in the bank to safely make their way into the semi final. A solid defensive foundation was the catalyst for a productive evening for Owen Roes against Beragh in tonight's minor league. The concession of just four scores over the hour ensuring that the home side bounced back from last week's Championship defeat.
