A terrible first half performance from Owen Roes ultimately cost them a place in the last four of the 2011 U16 Championship in Pomeroy this evening. Despite being struck by a whirlwind Derrylaughan start, the youngsters of Owen Roes came back to seal their place in the last four of the 2011 league series. Owen Roes survived a Championship scare from Dungannon Clarkes tonight in the opening round of the competition. Behind at the break the home side had to overcome a tenacious effort from the visitors before sealing a spot in the last eight.
