Owen Roes U12s collected their second win of the 2010 season when they overcame a youthful Urney side in Clady. Alex Kelly, Emer McAleer and Chantel McNulty all had their shooting boots on, but the team was also indebted to strong defending by stopper Megan Devine, and defenders Tara Donaghey, Emma McKane and Mairead Devine on a night when the team continued to build on the promsie they have shown.

The Owen Roes U12s put up a superb display in Plumbridge on Friday evening to get their 2010 season off to the best possible start.  The ladies showed excellent character and team work to keep going to the final whistle where a late score gave them the win. Orla Boyle hit the ladies' 'three-pointer' on a night where every player played their part. The Owen Roes ladies U12s travelled to Badoney on Saturday morning for their latest game. In absoloutely terrible conditions, the girls put on a brave, spirited display that deserved much, much more than the one defeat they suffered. The ladies U12s went down by a goal in a low scoring encounter in Newtownstewart this morning. Owen Roes had posession for much of the game but struggled to put their opportunities away. Chloe Devine and Deirdre McMenamin both featured well for the Green and Reds, where Megan Devine pointed and Ciara Forbes raised a Green flag.
