RESERVE AND SENIOR FOOTBALL
Well, we finally made it! The Owen Roe’s Senior and Reserve teams are
back to Intermediate football in 2018 after beating Newtownstewart in
Glenmornan on Sunday last!!!
After suffering relegation in 2005 and years of trying to get back up, the win on Sunday, after a 14 unbeaten run so far in the League, secured promotion with 2 games still to play!
A big congratulations and well done to the Senior team and their management on all the hard work that got us over that final hurdle towards promotion! Thank you also to all who helped out in the background, those who helped out on match days and to all our supporters and sponsors. This was a win for you all!!!
A special word of thanks also goes out to those who helped out on Sunday evening after the match providing refreshments, manning the bar as well as the clean up the next day!
However there’s no time to relax and celebrate too much just yet as the work still goes on as we try to progress in the Championship!
Neither team has a game this weekend due to Tyrone Championship matches
but this could change so check out the Club’s Facebook or website for updates!
