UNDER-6S TO UNDER-10S

Coaching for U-6s, U-8s and U-10s continues every Thursday from 7pm to 8pm.

A big well done to all the children who took part in the U-10s Blitz last Saturday morning at the Club. Also, a big thank to all the parents and Club members who helped out in any way with the running of the Blitz.

Owen Roe’s will also be hosting this Saturday’s U-8s Blitz this Saturday, again starting at 10.30am. All help from members, supporters and parents once more would be appreciated!

The last Ladies U-10 Blitz will be on Saturday 7th October.

LADIES U-16 TEAM

The Ladies U-16 team match had a good win over Newtownstewart Monday week ago.

They were due to play Urney last Friday night but unfortunately Urney were unable to field.

On Tuesday they had a good home win over Aghyaran in their last scheduled League game.

Good luck to the girls this Sunday when they are away to Aghyaran in the first round of the Championship with throw-in at 2pm. All support welcome!

U-16 (BOYS) TEAM

Good luck also to the U-16 boys, playing with Clann na nGael, who play Rock at home in the first round of the Championship this Saturday at 12 noon. Again all support is welcome!

NEWTOWNSTEWART FLOOD DAMAGE DRAW

As you may be will be aware Newtownstewart suffered tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage in the recent floods.

On a needs-must basis they have launched a Flood Restoration Draw to meet the £30,000 direct costs to us to bring the Pitch, Clubrooms and fencing back to the standards that they were so proud off.

Several years ago when our pitch was being renovated, Newtownstewart helped out Owen Roe's! Now it's time we can repay some of that debt we owe them!

They need help, your help. They need to sell 2250 tickets over the next 10 weeks. Please contact Draw Coordinators Liam Bradley 07810802532 or Maureen Mc Sorley 07706924570 at your earliest opportunity if you can be of any assistance, feel free to share.
