Thurs 7th May– training for the boys U-16 team continues at 7.15pm. New players welcome!

Fri 8th May –Coaching continues for all children aged between 5 and 10 from 7pm to 8pm at Glenmornan Community Hall. New players welcome! Cost £1 per child per night.

Coaching also continues for Under-12s, again from 7 to 8pm at the pitch.

Friday 15th May - The Quare Gunk by the Strabane Parish Church Players in Glenmornan Community Hall. Tickets are priced at £8.00 for adults and £4.00 for children and are now on sale from The Glen Shop, Owen Roe’s Clubrooms, Gerard Kelly, Galvin Early, Pat Mc Nulty, Marie Harper, Brenda Barr, Shauna Dooher, Declan Bradley, Paul Philips, Gerard Devine, Tony Mc Gonigle, Joe Hegarty, Donal Cairns, Anne Marie Conwell and Sarah Jane Kelly.

Sunday 17th May 25 and 50 Mile Cycle and 5K/10K Fun Run/Walk. Registration for the cycle starts at 9am and on the road for 10am. Registration for the walk/run starts at 10.30am and away for 11.30am.

Ulster Championship: Donegal v Tyrone live in the Clubrooms on the big screen.

Wednesday 20th May - Bingo with jackpot of £1,000 in both Glenmornan Community Centre & Owen Roe’s Clubrooms at 9pm. Prizes - £25 per line, £50 per house; Jackpot line £100, house £1000. Adm - £10. Bus available - stopping at Floyd’s (Ballymagorry), Abercorn Square, McFadden’s shop, Ballycolman Lane, Beechmount Avenue. Cost £2.00 each way (£4.00 return).

Friday 22nd May - fresh from Glor Tire on TG4, Ed Fox, in Glenmornan Community Hall at 11pm, with support from Bryan Mullen from 9pm. Tickets now on sale priced £5.00.

Saturday 23rd May - Under-16 Disco in the Glenmornan Community Hall for the younger generation from 7 – 9pm, followed by entertainment in the Clubrooms for the older generation with David and Mc Gaughey and Pick A Player.

Sunday 24th May - Family Fun Day from 2pm, with Krazy Karts, Zorb-ball and many more side shows.



Congratulations to Senior player Cathal Mc Shane and all involved with the Tyrone U-21s on winning the All-Ireland title on Saturday, beating Tipperary in the final. And to make it an even more memorable day Cathal scored the only goal of the game and was named Man of the Match. A proud day for Cathal, his family and for Owen Roe’s!!!



There will be a Ladies FUNdamental coaching on Saturday 23rd May for anyone interested in helping out coaching any of the Club’s Ladies Youth teams. If you would like to do the course please forward your name to Club Secretary, Pat Mc Nulty, to book a place.



Owen Roe’s will be hosting a Tyrone Summer Camp fromrnMonday 13th July to Thursday 16th July. Application forms for the Summer Camp can now be downloaded from the Tyrone GAA website. Parents are advised to book early.



Irish dancing classes continue every Thursday night from 6.30pm to 8pm. New dancers aged 3 and upwards are welcome to start lessons at any time.

Application forms for Tyrone GAA Gaeltacht Grants are now available. The closing date for applications is Friday 15th May, with the presentation of cheques on Wednesday 17th June in Garvaghy. Only fully paid up Club members will be deemed eligible. 



Thanks to all who supported the Quiz on Friday, to Bernadette Devine for organizing it, to all who provided refreshments and to those who sponsored prizes for the raffle, raising £250 for The Rachel Fund.

On Saturday night there will be a Night at the Races in the Clubrooms on in aid of Veronica O’Neill and Family, starting at 8pm. The Races will be followed by live music in the Clubrooms.

If you would like to run a quiz for a charity, contact Joe Hegarty. The Club will provide a quizmaster and a prize for the winning team so all you have to do is spread the word and bring a few raffle prizes.

Cards (25) continue every Tuesday night at 9pm – new players always welcome!

The Clubrooms are open on a Tuesday,Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and are available for parties such as birthdays, anniversaries, or other family events. If you would like to book the Clubrooms or Glenmornan Community Hall for an event contact Pat Mc Nulty.



Coaching for Under-12 players continues this Friday night in Glenmornan from 7 to 8pm. All new players welcome!



Coaching for all players aged between 5 and 10 years of age continues this Friday night in Glenmornan Community Hall from 7 to 8pm.

Children are asked to bring indoor and outdoor gear and £1 per child per night.

The U-8s have their next Blitz this Saturday, 9th May and the next U-10 Blitz is on Saturday week 16th May. Venues to be confirmed.



The Ladies U-14 team are at home to Trillick this Wednesday night at 7pm and on Saturday they are away to Fintona with throw-in at 4pm. On Thursday week they are at home to Loughmacrory with throw-in at 7pm.

The Minors had a good wins over Donaghmore last Monday night and Fintona last Friday night in the Championship but lost out to Drumragh in the semi finals on Monday night.



Training for the U-16 (boys) continues tomorrow night, Thursday at 7.15pm. New players welcome!

The U-14s lost out to Clann na nGael on Monday night. This Saturday morning they are at home to Castlederg at 11am. They await a date for their Championship game against Derrytresk.

The Minors played Tattyreagh last Tuesday night but the game had to be abandoned in the second half due to the weather and it is refixed for tonight Tuesday at 7pm.



The Seniors had a good 3-09 to 1-08 win over visitors Brockagh on Sunday. Unfortunately Brockagh were unable to field for the Reserve game. This Sunday both teams are due to travel to Glenelly with throw-in for the Seniors at 2.15 and the Reserves at 3.45pm.
