FIXTURES AND EVENTS (subject to change)


Fri 2nd Mar – Ulster Intermediate League - Owen Roe’s v Gortin - POSTPONED

Sat 3rd Mar – Ladies NFL: Tyrone v Cavan and NFL: Tyrone v Donegal - POSTPONED

Sun 4th Mar – U-14 (boys) League: Beragh v Owen Roe’s & Ladies Minor League: Drumragh v Owen Roe’s - POSTPONED.

Mon 5th Mar– Training for the Ladies Minor and Senior teams at 8pm.

Tues 6th Mar - Jiving Classes start in Glenmornan Community Hall.

Clubrooms open from 8pm. Punters Club, Lotto and Cards (25) from 9pm – new players welcome.

Wed7th Mar – Ladies Minor training at 7pm; Minor (boys) training at 7.30pm in Dunamanagh.

Glenmornan Ladies Group in the Clubrooms from 7pm.

Fri 9th Mar – Quiz Nite in aid of the Little Princess Trust at 9pm – see below.

Sat 10th Mar – Club clean-up day. More details next week.

Sun 11th Mar – U-14 (boys) League: Owen Roe’s v Drumragh.

Mon 12th Mar – Monthly Committee meeting at 8pm.

Sun 18th Mar - Round 1 of Minor League (boys).

Fri 30th Mar – Membership Registration Night in the Clubrooms from 8 to 9pm for all Youth and adult members – see below.

Sat 31st Mar – closing date for payment of membership fees for 2017.

First round of Division 2 Reserve & Senior Leagues.

Membership fees are now due for renewal for the coming year. To assist with paying your fees or your child’s fees for this year, there will be another Membership Registration Night on Friday 30th March, in the Clubrooms from 8 to 9pm.

All players (youth, Ladies and adult) and those wishing to continue being Full or Social members or to become new members must have their fees paid before Saturday 31st March.

Fees are available on the Club noticeboard and on the Membership Application Forms which can be downloaded from the Club website or obtained from Club Registrar Paul Mc Gonagle. Forms are also available from the bar during opening hours.

NOTE: All current members must fill in and sign the new Data Protection Consent Form available from Paul Mc Gonagle or Joe Hegarty before your membership can be registered. This is now a legal requirement.


The first Quiz of the year is on Friday week, 9th March, and is being organised by the Burke family. Club player, Olivia, will be donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust on the night and all proceeds from the Quiz will go to the Charity. Starts 9pm and all support is welcome!

If you would like to run a Quiz for a chosen charity or other fund-raising event please contact Joe Hegarty to book a night.

Cards (25) continue every Tuesday night in the Clubrooms starting at 9pm and is just for a bit of craic! New players always welcome!

The Clubrooms and Glenmornan Community Hall are both available for any family functions, fundraising events, community activities or classes.


Lotto tickets are on sale from various Club members or at The Glen Shop, Devlin’s Bar, The Stables Inn or M.K.’s Bar.

Training for the Ladies Senior team continues this Friday night and Monday in Glenmornan from 8pm. All new, past and current players aged 15 and upwards welcome!


The Ladies Minor team were due to play their first League game last Saturday against Coalisland but this had to be postponed until a later date.

Their next scheduled game is an away tie against Drumragh this Sunday and this too has been postponed due to the weather. Their next match is a home game against Fintona on Monday 26th March. 



The Ulster Ladies Gaelic Football Association is now taking applications for scholarships for member attending the Gaeltacht. Anyone Owen Roe’s member wishing to apply can get a form from Joe Hegarty. Closing date for applications is Tuesday 27th March.


The Senior team hosted Strabane on Sunday in the Ulster Intermediate League and played out a draw.

Their postponed game against Gortinin the Ulster League had been fixed for this Friday night in Garvaghey but has again been postponed due to the weather.

The Reserve and Seniors are due to start their Division 2 League on Saturday 31st March.
