Thurs 20th June- Note- There will be no training for U6s, U8s and U10s tonight.

Minor boys training at 7pm.

Fri 21st June – Quiz Nite in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Sat 22nd June – U-10½s Blitz in Urney at 10am.

 U-16 (boys) training at 10.45am in Dunamanagh.

Mon 24th June – U-12 ½ Go-Games: Owen Roe’s v Glenelly at 7.15pm.

Ladies U-12 coaching at 7pm – new players welcome!

Thurs 27th June- Minor Championship Preliminary Round- Owen Roe’s v Dromore at 7.30pm

Fri 28th June - Ladies Junior Championship - Edendork v Owen Roe’s in Killyclogher at 8pm.

Mon 1st July – Thurs 4th July – Tyrone GAA Summer Camp at Owen Roe’s.

Thurs 4th July –Owen Roe’s 5K Run

Sun 7th July – ACL: Gortin v Owen Roe’s (Reserves at 2.15pm and Seniors at 3.45pm)

TYRONE GAA SUMMER CAMP

Owen Roe’s will be hosting the Tyrone GAA Summer Camp this year from Monday 1st July until Thursday 4th July (10am to 1pm) for all children aged between 5 and 14.

The Camp costs £30 for the first child then reduces in price per sibling. Register early to reserve your child’s chosen gear. Bookings can be made by calling the Tyrone GAA Centre on 028 8556 7723. Online bookings are also now open and you can book your child’s place now on  http://tyronegaacentre.com/events/week-one-owen-roes-1st-4th-july-2/ 


There will be a late registration fee of £5 per child for registrations received after the 30th June.



IRISH LANGUAGE COURSE

The annual Irish language course run by the Ulster Council takes place from Monday 15th to Friday 19th July 2019 in Downings. The course is free to attend and is open to all adult members of the GAA. Musical and other cultural activities also feature in the week-long course.

TYRONE NEWS

The footballers of Tyrone start off on the qualifier route this Saturday 22nd June when they will travel to Longford. Throw in at 5.00pm. Best wishes to Cathal and the team.

The Tyrone U-17 (Minors) team have the semi-final of the Ulster Championship on Friday 21st at 8pm in Armagh. Good luck to them!


SOCIAL

The Boyle family will be hosting a Quiz Nite in the Clubrooms this Friday 21st June. Several family members will be abseiling down Belfast Castle to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and all support at the Quiz would be appreciated! Starts 9.30pm!



The Club’s Annual Midsummer Barbecue will take place this Saturday 22nd June and all adult players, Youth players and their parents, supporters are welcome to come along for a night’s craic and raise a few pounds for Club funds at the same time!



OWEN ROE’S 5K RUN

The Club will be hosting its now annual 5K Run on Thursday, 4th July. The Run is open to all over 12 years of age, of all abilities and fitness levels. There will also be a 1K Fun Run for U-12s.

Registration for the run will be from 6pm to 7.15pm at the Clubrooms in Glenmornan with the Run starting at 7.30pm.

Entry fees are £7 for over -18s, £3 for U-16s and £1 for U-12s.



U-8’S AND U-10’S NEWS

Owen Roe’s hosted our first U-8½ Blitz of the year last Saturday. A big well done to all the players who took part and thank you to all those who helped out with the Blitz.

This Saturday the U-10½s have their Blitz in Urney at 10am!
