On 31st August 1975, the amalgamated team of Donagheady and Leckpatrick which made up Owen Roe’s at that time played in the Tyrone Senior Championship final against Trillick. To mark the 40th anniversary we are planning to run a celebration at the Clubrooms on the evening of Sunday 30th August.  The event itself will be preceded by an Over-35 challenge game between the current Owen Roe’s and Clann na nGael clubs, with a BBQ and music by The Brambles provided afterwards.

There will be photographs and media coverage of the 1975 Championship also on display in the clubrooms to remind us all of the anticipation and excitement we shared in that year.
