SOCIAL
The Clubrooms are now open on a Thursday evening for the summer months from 8pm. They are also open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 8pm and Sundays from 7pm.
The Clubrooms and
Glenmornan Community Hall are both available for any family functions or
fundraising event – contact Anne-Marie Conwell for more details.

DARKNESS INTO LIGHT WALK
A big well done to
all from Owen Roe’s who took in the Darkness into Light, either walking or
stewarding, on Saturday morning last helping make it a big success! Well done also
to Strabane Sigerson’s who got the ball rolling with this and to all who helped
out in any way with organising it and helping out!
STRABANE HALF-MARATHON
The
Strabane Half Marathon & 5K will take place this Sunday 15th May 2016
commencing at 10.30am.
The
organisers are appealing for Stewards to come along and assist with the smooth
running of the event and to ensure the safety of the participants.
If you are
available to volunteer your services on Sunday then please get in touch with
Aodhan Harkin or Ivan Barr as soon as possible.
Anyone who is stewarding should be available from around 9.30am on Sunday
morning right through to approximately 1.30pm and to meet at Melvin Sports
Complex.
SUMMER CAMPS
The Tyrone GAA Summer Camp will be
held at Owen Roe’s from Monday 4th July to Thursday 7th

TYRONE "GAA-FOR-ALL" PROGRAMME
Tyrone GAA are providing a coaching programme which is inclusive, stimulating and fun for all children and adults from within the County with a disability who wish to play Gaelic Football.at the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey on the following dates: 16th, 23rd May and the 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June. The coaching will run from 7 – 8pm.
All participants in the programme
will have the opportunity to represent their County at the following
games/events: Ulster Senior Championship Semi Final
Activity Day to Croke Park and the Tyrone
Club Championship in Healy Park.

The next U-8s Blitz (Primary 3 and Primary 4) is on this Saturday 14th May at 10.30am. The next U-10s Blitz (Primary 5 and Primary 6) is on Saturday 21st May.
The Owen Roe’s Minor Ladies lost out
to Edendork in the Championship last Tuesday night.
The Ladies U-14 team overcame their
hosts Aghyaran last Thursday night. They were due to travel to Moy on Sunday
but the match was postponed. They are at home to Pomeroy tomorrow night,
Thursday 12th May with throw-in at 7.30pm and on Sunday they travel to
Moy for the refixed game. Throw-in at 12 noon. They are then away to Trillick
on Tuesday 24th May. Throw-in at 7pm.
Well done to the Minor boys team and thier Clann na nGael teammates who beat Both Domhnaigh last night in the semi-finals of the Championship in Urney. They now meet the winners of Stewartstown v Coalisland who play on Sunday evening.
Congratulations to the Clann na nGael Under 14 boys (and the Owen Roe's contingent!!!) who won the Grade 2 Feile on Monday evening. Well done to all on an excellent team performance!!
The U-14s are home to Stewartstown
this Saturday in the preliminary round of the Championship with throw-in at
1pm.

Neill who was part of the St Columb’s College, Derry, team who lifted the Corn
Colmcille trophy last week.
SENIOR AND RESERVE NEWS
The Reserves and Seniors travelled
to Brockagh last Sunday. Whilst the Reserves had a good win the Seniors lost
out by 2 points to their hosts. Neither team have a game this weekend.

Congratulations to
Caoimhe Barr and the Tyrone U16 girls who collected the Ulster B Championship title
with a 5-11 to 1-10 victory over Monaghan on Sunday.

Conall Mc Cormack who has been selected for the Tyrone Minor Championship panel
for 2015.
Good luck to the
Tyrone Ladies Minor team who play Armagh in the Ulster Final this Sunday in
Truagh at 3.15pm.
Tyrone take on Derry in the Ulster Championship on Sunday 22nd May in Celtic Park.
