Ulster GAA has announced scholarships for GAA members applying for Ulster University’s Irish Language Diploma from September 2016.
The Gaeilge sa Chlub (‘Irish in the Club’) scholarship scheme for adult learners of Irish is a joint initiative from Ulster GAA and Ulster University which aims to promote the use of Irish within clubs throughout Ulster by providing financial assistance to GAA members who sign up for a Diploma in Irish Language course. For further information on the Diploma in Irish, contact Mrs Ros O’Hagan at r.ohagan1@ulster.ac.uk or 028 7167 5277. (course at Cookstown and Magee) or Sharon McKee at s.mckee@ulster.ac.uk or 028 95367482 (courses at Belfast).

TYRONE NEWS
Tyrone are now through to the All-Ireland quarter finals on Saturday 6th August when they will play one of the Round 4B winners. The match will more than likely be in Croke Park and be a double header with Dublin playing a 4B winner as well so tickets are going to be scarce!
The match will be all-ticket and any fully paid up member wishing to be considered for tickets are asked to have their requests with Club Secretary, Pat Mc Nulty by 9pm tomorrow night, Thursday 28th July. Requests after this time cannot be guaranteed and orders placed cannot be changed or cancelled. Please be specific about the area of the ground you need tickets for and state whether they are adult, student, U-16 or senior citizen. The Club’s Ticket Allocation Guidelines will apply!

OWEN ROE’S SCRATCHCARDS
Owen Roe’s latest fundraiser is scratch cards for the All-Ireland football final. Each scratch card has a time in minutes and seconds. If this time matches the time the first goal is scored in this year's All-Ireland football final the owner wins £250!! (There is one card that has "no goal" to cover the eventuality of no goal being scored).
Scratch cards are now being distributed to all adult and youth players, Club members, supporters and parents and all your support is appreciated!

Sell them where you can.... the Ulster Final, the pub, out with friends, at your work, at a concert, along your street or road or around your park....

Scratch cards are priced £2/€3 or 3 for £5/2 for €5.
