Fintona’s reserve side showed why they sit down of the Div 3
reserve league with an emphatic win over Owen Roes on Sunday.
A point from Art Anderson and a Ryan Porter free gave Owen
Roes early scores before a well measured Ryan Porter pass allowed Mark O’Neill
to goal. The same two players grabbing the away side’s only other scores of the
half as they went in 2-8 to 1-4 down.
The second half was all Fintona as they added 1-6 to their
tally. The sole Leckpatrick scores coming from Sean McBride and a Porter free.
