Owen Roes ladies suffered a heavy defeat to neighbours Strabane in tonight's Junior B Semi Final despite decent opening and closing quarters in the fixture from the Leckpatrick ladies. Indeed a string of goals in the closing minutes of the first half and the opening salvos of the second half failed to dampen the O'Neills enthusiasm and they kept battling to the closing whistle.
Hannah Corey notched two scores for Owen Roes with player coach Angela Stephenson clipping over the other from an acute angle, on a night where midfield duo Kelli Doherty and Terri Doherty showed well.
