Greencastle were the visitors to Glenmornan, in what is likely to be the final game of the regular season for both sides, on Saturday. After in hour it was the home side that ran out winners courtesy of a strong second half showing.

Conditions were not ideal for decent football on Saturday as both sides emerged to a very strong wind. It was the visitors that had use of the elemants in the first half and they would've been disapointed with their three point haul. Indeed the hosts looked set to go on a point to the good when Kevin Cairns lashed a thunderbolt of an effort past the visitors goalkeeper on the stroke of half time.

The second half saw the home side make better use of the conditions and Cairns ended up with 3.2 to his name to compliment scores from Ryan McAleer 1.3, Michael Dooher 1.2, Ryan Devine 0.3, Cathal Kelly 1.2, Aaron McGonigle 0.1,and  Sean Kelly 0.2.
