Owen Roes’ dreams of an U14 double were wiped out in Greencastle following a controversial closing couple of minutes in this league semi final tie with Cookstown. Five points ahead with two minutes remaining, the North Tyrone side conceded 2-1 late in the game to give up their crown they won in 2010- that winning goal with the last kick in the 6^th minute of injury time.

 

The Leckpatrick side had led for virtually all the game with scores from Ryan McAleer (1-3), Cathal Kelly (0-1), Conal McCormick (0-1), Michael Dooher (0-2), Kevin Cairns (0-2), and Sean Kelly (1-1).
