The Owen Roes U16 ladies turned on the style in tonight's round 3 fixture of the 2012 league as they ran out convincing winners over Kildress.
Chantel McNulty was scorer in chief in the opening half bagging four goals, thanks in the main to excellent support play from Emer McAleer and Ciara McNulty. Amy Rose Harte, McAleer, Naomh Barr, Chloe Devine, and Kelsey McNulty all knocked over points in an eye catching Owen Roes showing.
Ciara McNulty got the second half's opening point, before Amy Stewart came off the bench to grab a well taken goal with her first touch of the ball. McNulty and Stewart grabbed further majors for the home side, but Kildress battled well to the end. Indeed second half keeper Naomh Barr was called on to make a fine penalty save, before the visitors did get a reward with a second half goal.
