An excellent home display that warmed up their supporters on a bitterly cold day, ensured that Owen Roes minors made it two wins from three in the Tyrone minor league.

The hosts were fluid throughout, and in a decent team display lead 0-7 to 0-3 at the half time whistle with Cathal McShane and Ronan McNulty sharing four points, with wing backs Michael Dooher and Stephen Harper adding to Ryan McAleer's score.

Any hopes of a Carrickmore comeback ended midway through the half when Jack Boggs struck for a major. The home side kept the scoreboard clicking over at regular intervals, and while McShane added 0-5 to his first half tally, Aaron Boggs, Kevin Cairns and McAleer also converted to register a well earned victory for the hosts.
